On the final day of our US Course Autumn Trip, the students began the morning with meaningful activities that made the last day especially memorable.
They woke up early and gathered by the seaside for morning exercises at 6:00 a.m. The refreshing ocean breeze and calm scenery helped everyone start the day with energy and focus.
Afterward, they enjoyed a delicious and healthy breakfast lovingly prepared by local residents. Once the meal was finished, the students worked together to clean the rooms they had used, showing great responsibility and teamwork.
The morning continued with a special lecture from one of Otsushima Island's oldest residents. Students listened attentively as they learned about the island's rich history and asked many thoughtful questions. Following the lecture, the students had the unique opportunity to prepare their own lunch with the help of the local community. They enjoyed cooking, sharing, and eating the meal they made together--smiles all around.
Because it was their last day on Otsushima Island, the students made sure to visit some of the island's most significant historical sites. It was a wonderful way to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the local culture.
Overall, the students truly enjoyed their three days and two nights on Otsushima Island. The experience not only strengthened their bonds but also gave them the chance to refresh their minds and bodies before returning to school life.
We hope these memories will stay with them for a long time and inspire them in their future learning.
